Oh yes. After all the unbearable teasing since we unveiled the first ever photos of the PlayStation Phone, we've finally managed to get hold of the real deal for an in-depth preview. Honestly, we couldn't wait any longer with this thing floating around in China; we'd otherwise have to wait until MWC, where we expect the phone to be launched as the "Xperia Play" (and we shall refer to this name henceforth).

The long-time iconic San Francisco skate spot, Hubba Hideout, is being destroyed. According to city employees who were on hand yesterday erecting fences around the area, the retaining wall ledges that have been a part of street-skating's history since the early '90s are scheduled for removal today. The spot's top ledge was ripped out yesterday.

Nokia may have been pushed to hire Stephen Elop as CEO against its will, a Finnish exposé may have uncovered. Kauppalehti claimed that chairman Jorma Ollila had originally wanted to hand-pick the company's smartphone head, Anssi Vanjoki, to take over from the struggling Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo but was threatened with an early ouster by American investors. Vanjoki had been virtually certain and was only replaced by the Microsoft executive just a week before the news became public, the paper said.
