Mark Calcavecchia birdied 9 straight holes Saturday in the Canadian Open to break the PGA Tour record. In perfect morning scoring conditions at rain-softened Glen Abbey, he opened the delayed 2nd round with 2 pars, then reeled off the 9 straight birdies. His 9 birdie putts were from 15 feet or closer. He was five strokes behind leader Jason Dufner.
