Does Rand Paul's Win Signal a 'Tea Party Tidal Wave'? Posted: 19 May 2010 05:20 PM PDT Rand Paul trounced "establishment" Republican Trey Grayson in Kentucky's senate primary, saying his win was a "loud and clear," unambiguous "message from the Tea Party." Republicans pledged unity after the divisive vote, but Paul said he would stick with the Tea Party message during the general campaign. |
The Poison Pen of Perez Hilton Posted: 19 May 2010 05:20 PM PDT Q: Is there any celebrity you absolutely would never trash? A: I don't think I trash any of them. But no, nobody is safe. I consider myself a little rude and a little honest but when I am rude, it is on purpose to provoke thought and reaction. I want people to agree or disagree for the sake of entertainment. |

Scientists Find Boxed Wine Quality Declines After Six Months Posted: 19 May 2010 04:10 PM PDT Wine companies have been switching away from glass bottles in order to lighten the environmental footprint of their packaging, but in doing so they are shortening the lives of some wines. But a new study by French researchers indicates wine (white in particular), begins to decline in quality after only six months in plastic bags or bottles. |

HP Planning to Build Cow-Powered Data Centers Posted: 19 May 2010 02:40 PM PDT Saying that there is a whole lot of b.s. in the world of green IT is certainly not an overstatement, but only Hewlett Packard could turn that truth to its advantage. In fact, the company has just published research showing how data center operators could put the oversized loads of crap that emanate from dairy farms to work in powering computers. |
