Glenn Beck Fan, Highly Armed, Busted in NY Incident Posted: 02 Aug 2009 02:30 PM PDT Chock it up as another instance in the growing list of crazies spurred to craziness by Right-Wing media crazies. A NY mother of three -- armed with an XM-15 assault rifle, a shotgun and 500 rounds of ammunition -- was arrested for scouting out and taking pictures of an Air National Guard base." She was apparently paranoid of "FEMA Camps." |

'Ebola Cousin' Marburg Virus Isolated From Africa Fruit Bats Posted: 02 Aug 2009 12:00 PM PDT Infection with Marburg virus and the related Ebola virus can produce severe disease in people, with fever and bleeding. During outbreaks, as many as 90 percent of those infected have died. Why The FCC Wants To Smash Open The iPhone Posted: 02 Aug 2009 11:50 AM PDT Right about now, Apple probably wishes it had never rejected Google Voice and related apps from the iPhone. Or maybe it was AT&T who rejected the apps. Nobody really knows. But the FCC launched an investigation last night to find out, sending letters to all three companies (Apple, AT&T, and Google)... |
Posted: 02 Aug 2009 11:40 AM PDT This is the PEN Story in stop motion. We shot 60.000 pictures, developed 9.600 prints and shot over 1.800 pictures again. No post production! Happy? $100 Mill for a guy that probably cost u $4 a Gallon Posted: 02 Aug 2009 10:10 AM PDT In a few weeks, the Treasury Department's czar of executive pay will have to answer: Should Andrew J. Hall get his bonus? That suggests that last summer, drivers paid more at the pump, at least in part, because of people like Andrew J. Hall.
