Tokyo's 'Oldest Woman' Hasn't Been Seen for Decades Posted: 03 Aug 2010 06:00 PM PDT Only days after finding out that Tokyo's oldest man had been dead for 30 years, Japanese officials got another surprise: The capital's oldest woman hasn't been seen for decades. Fusa Furuya was said to be 113 and listed as living with her daughter, but when officials went to investigate they were told the mother's whereabouts were unknown. Ooops? |
